Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.- Once again the tourist resort and real estate project Cap Cana is scene of an importance event, this time during the second week of October as host of the gathering of the Brazilian business leaders LIDE, whose 580 affiliated companies account for 44% of that nation’s GDP.

Cap Cana Council president Ricardo Hazoury said the LIDE gathering, held in the Hotel Sanctuary Golf & Spa, exceeded all expectations and mark a before and after in Brazil and Dominican Republic’s trade, artistic and cultural relations.

He said several of the Brazilian industrialists, personalities and artists present the event expressed their thoughts, and were impressed with the Sanctuary Hotel, Cap Cana’s tourism and real estate development and the Dominican Republic in general.

Moreover, Hazoury affirmed that all the guests were impressed with president Leonel Fernandez’s speech, noting that in simple language he conveyed a message of clearly defined business opportunities, which Dominican and Brazilian investors can benefit from.

The 160 business leaders present in the event enjoyed a full weekend of sports and social activities within the sprawling tourism complex such as beach soccer, golf and tennis matches, coastal tours on speedboats and yachts, cocktails and dinners.
