Santo Domingo. - As part of the activities of the 17th Dominican Week in the United States a round table will be conducted on the policy of president Barack Obama’s Administration for Latin America and its repercussion for Dominican Republic.
The panel is scheduled for October 5 in Washington, D.C and organized by the group Dominican Professionals in Washington, as part of Dominican Week’s activities. Important authorities and university professors will participate in the dialogue, to analyze the U.S. Administration’s main policies, actions and plans for Latin America and Dominican Republic.
This year Dominican Week, from October 5 to 8 plans activities in Washington and New York, such as seminars and talks on U.S.-Dominican bilateral relations; meetings in the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Exim Bank; recognition of the work by Dominican teachers in New York schools and Dominican lawyers in the American Judiciary.
Dominican Week seeks to promote trade and cultural relations between Dominican Republic and the U.S., in addition to the relations of the Dominican diaspora there.
