Santo Domingo.- American Airlines helped to protect the natural resources of the Loma Quita Espuela scientific reserve, by planting a native variety of trees in the zone located near the city San Francisco (northeast).

Around 150 American Airlines employees and associates volunteered to take part in the carrier’s environmental responsibility program, collaborating with the work to plant more than 800 plants of the variety Mahogany Criolla.

American Airlines, through its Go Green program, aims to get involved and contribute to environmental causes which promote, educate and work to maintain and improves Dominican Republic’s natural resources.
