Santiago, Dominican Republic.- Amid a grand celebration Dominican Republic’s Cigar Makers Association (Procigar) concluded the third “Procigar Festival,” meeting their guests’ expectations like every year.
“Dominican Republic has new good will ambassadors who’ll promote us not only as Cigar Country but also as the nation of true friendship,” the organizers said.
The Festival concluded with a dinner-dance in Santiago’s Centro Español, where more than 400 guests, 259 from abroad among them, enjoyed “our contagious merengue beat and enjoyed the show “From the heart of my land.”=
The guests of the event, which lasted five days and began in Casa de Campo, La Romana (east), were treated to an auction of exclusive cigars and articles to raise funds for charities, and for Haiti.
