Santo Domingo.- The Independent Association of Corrugated Cardboard Converters, AICC, based in the United States, awarded Cartonera RIERBA, S.A. third place in the international corrugated cardboard design competition, held annually since 1981, aimed at recognizing and awarding the converters of packing material which meet and exceed market expectations.

Cartonera RIERBA, S.A. was awarded third place in the self-promotion category, the first time that a Dominican company is distinguished internationally in corrugated packing production.
