Santo Domingo. - In a gala event staged in Hotel Jaragua the company Antena Latina Beauty LTD, through the Dominican Republic Miss Universe National Beauty Pageant, presented the 37 candidates who’ll vie for the crown in that same backdrop on April 17.

The candidates showcased white cocktail dresses by prominent Dominican designer Luis Domínguez, accompanied by accessories and metallic belts from jewelry designer Lola Sterling.

Miss University franchise director Magali Febles said just like last year, the candidates will be chosen from same number of provinces nationwide, in addition to the communities abroad such as the United States, Puerto Rico, and for the first time the Dominican community in Venezuela.

I hope for his sake its about language rather then a racial issue, because if that is the case then we know for sure he really has issues.

A beautiful women, is a beautiful women regardless of color, creed and national origin.
