Santo Domingo. – Samaná Tourism Cluster representative Rafael Blanco Tejera is the new president of the Dominican Tourism Competitiveness Partnership (CDCT) for the 2012-2014 period.
The new directorate includes Julio Brache, Vice president, representing the Barahona Tourism and Production Cluster; David Matías, Secretary, representing the Constanza Ecotourism Cluster and Luis Garrido, first Vocal, of the Jarabacoa Ecotourism Cluster.
Also Socrates Mancebo, of the Pedernales Sustainable Tourism Cluster, second Vocal; and Daniel Flaquer, of the La Romana Tourism Cluster, third Vocal.
The CDCT is a not-for-profit organization which promotes sustainable tourism and competitiveness through its 10 clusters nationwide; forges strategic alliances and provides technical services to its associates to develop that business model.
