Santiago.- University students from Santiago won the most internship opportunities in Philip Morris Dominicana’s "First Step" program.
Philip Morris Dominicana, S.A. launched the First Step the one-year internship program for the fifth consecutive year, to select and develop students with potential to grow in that organization.
After a thorough recruitment process in which 311 people initially took part, the company selected nine talented students, five of them from Santiago, who will have the opportunity to develop their operations, sales, marketing, corporate affairs and human resources skills during one year.
"the process of recruitment for the First Step program is unlike any other in the country. Each stage of the process was a new challenge and a chance to prove to myself that I can reach where so propose me. Now I am faced with a new challenge and I hope to bring something new and different to the company," said Odile Herrera, one of the selected interns from Santiago.
