Dominican credit unions host Corporate Governance congress

SD. Dominican Republic´sCredit Union Association and Credit Corporations, ABANCORD, hosted thecongress, "Corporate Governance: the new role of the board ofdirectors" for its members, in Hotel Sheraton Santo Domingo.

In the keynote speech, ABANCORDChairman of the Board Alan Muñoz thanked participants, “who’ve graciouslyagreed to share their experiences and knowledge in a transcendental moment forthe future of the institutions we represent.”

He said last year´s workshop"Corporate Governance: from theory to practice in Latin America that willgrow in 2016, ABANCORD hostd what would de a series of annual events collaboratewith the training of the directors of the financial entities.
