Three-day fest makes Jarabacoa the country’s garden

Jarabacoa, D.R.- During three days Jarabacoa becomes a sort of garden, with varied and striking colors that captivate visitors.

The organizers of the cultural event that has reached beyond the horizon of the Central Mountains enclave are busy with the final tasks to host the 6th annual Festival de Las Flores, from Thursday to Sunday.

The event showcases the bounty of the highlands and features new talent and also established artists of poetry and song, Jose Marmol, Mateo Morrison, Tati Hernández, among others.

Eunice Marmolejos, president of the foundation which each year organizes the activity, promised gorgeous displays of native and other blossoms, as well as exhibits of handicraft and art.
