Top fruit & veggie show Fruit Logistica coming to Dominican capital

Santo Domingo.- Fruit Logistica, the leading international fruit and vegetables fair, will be staged in Santo Domingo on July 2, with several conferences aimed at professionals in the Dominican export sector.

Fruit Logistica director for Spain and Latin America Maria Moreno on Thursday said Frank Ocampo, head of overseas imports to the Caribbean for Dutch importer The Greenery will attend the gathering in Santo Domingo.

In an emailed statement, Moreno said the company figures among the main international organizers for fruit and vegetables purveyors in Europe., while Ocampo, as a special guest, will discuss with Dominican professionals the requirements for fruit and vegetable producers to become suppliers of benchmark European imports.

Moreno added that Fruit Logistica is a leader in the world’s horticultural sector events with over 20 editions held annually in Berlin.
