Dominican Tourism Press announces annual awards

Santo Domingo.- TheDominican Tourist Press Association (ADOMPRETUR) calls on journalistsinterested in tourism issues to participate in the 12th annual EpifanioLantigua National Journalism Tourist Award.

The deadline for submitjournalistic work is Friday, October 16th at 6pm, at the ADOMPRETUR office inthe Dominican Journalists Association at the Centro de los Heroes. Journalistswho live outside of Santo Domingo can take their work to the Secretary Generalof the local Association committee.

The award competitionincludes the categories print newspapers and magazines, TV report, documentarytelevision, digital newspapers, photojournalism and the relationship of tourismand sea.

ADOMPRETUR said a newaward will recognize the best job, number of jobs or media coverage in anyjournalistic genre in any traditional or digital media, on small hotels andother community inspired tourism establishments, unconventional placesnon-traditional or alternative to large concentrations of Dominican tourism.
