Mir Foundation hosts fundraiser golf tournament

La Romana, Dominican Republic.-With the world famous Teeth of the Dog links as the backdrop the MIR Foundationon Saturday successfully hosted its annual golf tournament, an event that formspart of its Magical Splendor Gala .

Dozens of golfers competedin the "scramble" format tournament which began around 1pm, played undersunny skies and a pleasant atmosphere.

The Magical SplendorGala fundraiser sponsors social and educational projects directed by the MIRFoundation year-round, including vocational schools for men and women.

The activity isorganized each year by Alfy Fanjul and Raysa in Casa de Campo, where a galadinner and a fashion show were also held, by India designer Naeem Khan.

The tournament awardsceremony was held in the villa Casa Grande, where Raysa and Alfy Fanjul handedthe trophies to the winners.
