Damajagua Falls visited by 70,801 tourists

Puerto Plata.- The DamajaguaFalls Natural Monument, near Imbert township, was visited by 70,801 tourists in2015, besting 2014 by 3,778 adventurers.

Protected area administratorRoberto Luis Gomez accounted for the growth mostly to local visitors, with ajump of 16%, while foreigners increased 1% compared with 2014.

He said the visits bycruise ships passengers also rose by around 600, after the Amber Cove cruise terminalstarted operations last October.
