Scholarships aim to widen Dominican tourism journalists’ knowledge

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Journalists Guild (CDP), theDominican Tourism Press Association and the training institution Sigmatec on Thursdaysigned an agreement to grant 150 scholarships to as many journalists to trainin various areas of knowledge.

Sigmatec will provide training for communicators nationwideon Technical Capacity, Leadership, Human Resource Management, Teacher Education,Administrative Skills, Financial Management, Senior Business Management andExcel Basic and Advanced.

Sigmatec administrative manager Marilyn de Dios said thecourses for journalists feature innovative training solutions with expertfacilitators and modern and dynamic learning methods.

CDP officers Olivo de Leon and Jose Luis Chavez signed theagreement with Sigmatec executives Marilyn de Dios Jose Tarquino Cedeño.
