Lone Coconut studio with over 12 movies under its belt

SD. In their two years of operation Lone Coconut, aboutique post-production studio in the heart of Santo Domingo, has worked inover 12 movies including: Maria Montez, Los Fabulosos Ma’ Mejores and upcomingfilms A Dios Que Me Perdone directed by Angel Muñiz and Loki 7 directed byErnesto Alemany.

“What makes this studio stand out is their specializationin traditional animation. Traditional animation is when the cartoon needs to behand drawn frame by frame and they are currently the only studio in the countryto have a team specialized in cartooning,” said Ricky Gluski in an emailedstatement.

He said they hope in the upcoming years to pave the way fora Dominican animation industry that is “high quality and uniquely Dominican.”
