Jarabacoa gets ready to romp with Carnival

Jarabacoa, D.R.- The Medrano group, the JarabacoaMayor’s Office and members of the Carnival organizing committee, on Thursdaylaunched the yearly event during a meeting held last night at the JarabacoaCountry Club.

Brinia Carrera headed the opening of theactivity, with the keynote speech by Jarabacoa mayor Carlos Sanchez Pineda, whoexpressed confidence that the Carnival will be staged to match the pride of theinhabitants of the highland city.

Jarabacoa leads the country in ecotourism,alpinism and adventure tourism.
