Among the zones reforested is the Ozama river basin, the Capital’s main water source

Bayaguana, Dominican Republic.- Hundreds of cedar, mahogany, Caribbean pine among other seedlings were planted yesterday by students and Environment Ministry crews, as part of the activities to mark the beginning of Reforestation Month.

Simultaneous reforestation also took place in in the river basins of San Jose del Puerto (Haina), el Cercado (Vallejuelo), La Vega (Camú), Dajabón (El Masacre) and Jarabacoa (north Yaque).

The Presidency’s minister Cesar Pina Toribio and Environment minister Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal, headed the effort with Bayaguana, Monte Plata province officials.

The reforested zone is in the Ozama river’s area of influence, said Plan Quisqueya Verde director Jose Enrique Brea. He said Environment Ministry forest rangers will watch over the seedlings planted.

The planting days will continue across the country during the next 30 days, in which more than 200 institutions, companies, associations and churches will participate.

I just raised my selling price on charcoal and next week you will pay more. I hope the cost of LPG will cost 200rd soon.

You can go to Haity to sell all of your charcoal, I'm sure they will make your bussines be more
flourishing.

And In that way they you guys can help the enviroment and off course haitians.
