Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez arrived last night in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates where he’ll meet with the Sultán Amhed Bin Sulayem, government officials and with prime Emirates minister and vice-president Sheik Mohammed Bin the Maktoum.
The Dominican chief executive will also participate in World Economic Forum where around 700 world leaders will analyze the current situation of the world’s economies.
At 11 a.m. today Fernandez will meet with the Sultán Amhed Bin Sulayem, and afterwards participate in a luncheon at 2 p.m., and will travel to Port Jebel Ali and for a tour of a free zone. At 5 p.m. he’ll visit the companies Internet City, Knowledge and Media City.
Before flying to Dubai, Fernandez visited Qatar’s government real estate company, which also handles tourism investments.

It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g how so very dis-connect Gov leaders are from the real people they are suppose to serve. This is a spillover lesson that the world should have learned form the Obama landslide victory (and embarrassing loss for McLame). Leaders must connect with the people they serve.
I hope that Obama will bring the change we need not only in America but also our Embassy in Santo Domingo and even in the world as far as teaching world leaders how to "manage" world issues.
