Another endorsement from a foreigner who is ripping off the Dominican people.

I wonder if he was so enthusiastic and supportive of Mr. Chavez's reelection in his native Venezuela?

I new Hertell US ex-embassador was good for nothing, I wonder why the US inspector general was investigating him.
For those at the US Embassy which still has some morality, clean your house, I had never seen this type of behavior before. All this statements go against the US state department " active regulations, even he is not an officer anymore !!!

Cisneros & Hertell pretty much are endorsing a "Narco-Bratt", let me tell you both, there's a lot rumors roaming the island about your dealings, and none of them sounds good.

We do expect and demand US Embassador Fannin opinions on Hertells endorsment & alligiance to a "Foreign Goverment administration".

Is this a new US policy , "God saves us all".

Like many wealthy Latin Americans, Gustavo Cisneros is a chameleon when it comes to nationality. Nominally a Venezuelan—he was born in Caracas in 1945, to an Cuban father and Venezuelan mother—he was educated and served his media apprenticeship in the US.

But he is also a citizen of Spain, at the personal request of King Juan Carlos; an American in New York, a Cuban in Miami, and a Dominican in the Dominican Republic, where his principal residence and base of operations—the Casa Bonita, close to the La Ramona beach resort on the south coast—is part of a tight-knit community of other billionaires of Cuban extraction, all savage and extreme reactionaries, who have grown rich on the profits of sugar, rum, real estate, drug trade, tobacco, human trafficking, and communications.

Cisneros is the most high-profiled of this resident cabal of billionaires of Cuban origin in DR.

gouletcolonial, in the DR, by definition, all beaches are already nationalised, that is, there is no such thing as a private beach in the Dominican Republic, at least in legal terms. If all hotels and resorts were law-abiding corporations (and if the Dominican government had balls), they would allow any individual --regardless of their socioeconomic status or condition as hotel guest-- to use the beach as the beach doesn't belong to the hotel but to the people. All of Dominican Republic's coastline belongs to the Dominican Republic, not to CapCana, Frank Rainieri or Casa de Campo. No private entity can be owner or tenant of any part of Dominican Republic's coastline. A randomly selected Spaniard, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Austrian, Briton, Australian, Canadian, Swiss, Swede, Norwegian, Finn, Russian or American is more likely to enjoy peacefully Dominican Republic's best beaches than a randomly selected Dominican. Sad but true. Embarrassing remnants of colonialism.

In the 1980s, to finance the Central American war, the Reagan regime formed a "Dark Alliance" to smuggle and distribute cocaine to the youth and junkies of the USA after the US Congress cut off funds for the US aggression, using mercenaries known as "Contras," against the people of Nicaragua. Planes loaded with Colombian coke landed at San Salvador's Ilopango International Airport ... at the time occupied by the US milittary and CIA. The coke was transferred to US military and others planes and flown often to military bases in the USA or trucked to ships waiting in El Salvador's ports for later transport to the USA. The operation at Ilopango was supervised by Felix Rodriguez and Luis Posada, both CIA and Miami mafia operatives.

Every member of the cabal of billionaires of Cuban descent on the south coast of the DR today is a member of the Miami mafia. Every one of them profited handsomely from the drug operation. Every one of them has strong CIA ties.

Posada and Rodriguez took the heat for the big boys or bosses who are now relaxing on the south coast of the DR.

Peter Dale Scott and Jonathan Marshall in their book "Cocaine Politics: Drugs, Armies, and the CIA in Central America," Updated edition, University of California Press, 1998, deal with the national and international aspects of the drug trafficking operation.

CIA and Contras cocaine trafficking in the US

Gary Wills in his book " Dark Alliance" reports on the west coast USA aspects of drug trafficking operation.

The Cuban counter-revolutionaries were in charge of transportation from El Salvador to the USA where US elements took over the task of distribution to US junkies and youth, except in Florida and NJ where the Cuban renegades also handled distribution.

Your compassion is overwhelming.

I regret that I unable to cite more sources of the mainstream of the lying capitalist media which serve as your criterion of truth and elixir of life.

I wonder why this lying capitalist media is still so dear to you after it, in the main, denied for about two decades the reality and causes of global warming which is now almost upon us.

As much as I love and admire my country, “The United States of America“, I have to agree in some of Mr. Belial statements about US international policies. I do consider myself a very “Conservative” individual and don‘t believe in violence, but I have to say that many bad decisions and apples still hangs in our past Christmas trees.

For us that live in our dearest “Homeland” the US, we have to watch and see every single day all the crap that the “Special Interest” its feeding us in our media, their reasoning of what’s best for our Nation, including Democrats. Ex: "Privatization"

More than a “Nation”, we have transform ourselves into a Monster system, that in past history confronted “Communism” with lies of freedom and today has to fight “Terrorism”.

I do believe that “Injustice and Capitalism” are the worst plagues human kind inherit from the early earth beginnings, since an ambiguous caveman started saving more for his self.

“No regime, will sell or buy me”.

With due respect,

Sir, this still is "Treason".

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
