PRESS RELEASE

OTTAWA, - Everton Resources Inc. is pleased to announce the start of a 6000-metre diamond drill program in the Dominican Republic. This 40 to 50 hole drill program will test multiple gold and polymetallic targets on the El Llano, La Yautia, Fresso and Ampliacion Pueblo Viejo properties.

"This is the Company's most aggressive drill program yet in the Dominican Republic," stated Everton's President & CEO, Andre Audet. "After extensive exploration work, we have generated multiple ready-to-drill targets for gold and base metals that will be tested over the next two to three months."

El Llano & La Yautia

The first phase of the drill program will consist of 10 diamond drill holes totalling 2,000 metres on Everton's 100%-owned El Llano and La Yautia polymetallic concessions. This phase of the drill program is designed to test polymetallic copper-zinc-gold-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") targets which were identified by the 2007 helicopter-borne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys, the recent 32-km ground induced polarization ("IP") survey and the soil geochemical anomalies. The El Llano and La Yautia concessions, covering 1,512 hectares, are located in an area underlain mostly by mafic metavolcanics of the Maimon Formation, host of GlobeStar Mining Inc.'s ("GlobeStar") Cerro de Maimon VMS deposit (currently under development), located approximately 12 km to the southeast along strike.

Fresso

The second phase of the drill program will consist of 5 to 10 diamond drill holes of depths ranging between 75m and 150m, totaling 1,000 metres on the newly optioned Fresso polymetallic exploration concession, located in the north-western part of the Dominican Republic, on the Haiti border. Following the completion of the drill campaign, Everton will conduct a thorough surface evaluation of the property including geological mapping and geochemical sampling.

The 6,650 hectare Fresso concession has an extensive zone of disseminated sulphide mineralization occurring within the siliceous bedded chert. The area is underlain mostly by mafic metavolcanics and cherts of the Duarte Formation (Lower Cretaceous), in contact with intrusive tonalites.

Ampliacion Pueblo Viejo

The final phase of the drill program will consist of 3,000 metres on the 4,045 hectare Ampliacion Pueblo Viejo concession (option to acquire up to 65% from Linear Gold Corp.) located adjacent to Barrick/Goldcorp's Pueblo Viejo deposit, in central Dominican Republic. Details of this drill phase will be outlined in mid summer.

I feel the big problem is not whether they will pay the taxes and fees due the country. Rather once the money is deposited will it make it ways to pay off the countries debt and pay for roads or will it disappear like all the other taxes.
I can see it now the DR government with hat in hand like Oliver Twist please sir can I have some more.
