It's amazing. Each time the Barrel of OIL drops at least $10.00 DOLLARS or more, they lower the price of gasoline $2.00 pesos or so. When the barrel of OIL was at is high of $147.00 US Dollars, gasoline here was $207.00 pesos or so. Since then the barrel of OIL has dropped more than $100.00 dollars. Nevertheless, the Dominican Government only slashed about $90.00 pesos off the prize. You do the math and see. Oh BTW, the barrel of oil recently shot up a few bucks, of course the Dominican Government quickly raised it again, yet now that it went back down, they only lowered $2.00 pesos again.
SO bottom line is even if the Barrel of OIL was sold to this Crooks, I mean Government, for $4.00 US dollars, we would still be paying about $55.00 Pesos a gallon... Sweet deal they got huh?

the government unless they wish to continue being called thieves should explain their math .... they are using the money to prop up their phony exchange rate....or dividing it up amongst themselves

Quite simply the government is wasting so much money on unneeded and unworking employees that they have to continue collect the excessive tax on gasoline. This allows them to continue their wasteful ways.
