Traffic at the intersection of Churchill and 27 de Febrero, no place to move....

Santo Domingo.- Traffic in Santo Domingo’s major avenues gridlocked near noon Tuesday, as the holiday season’s activities brought out an unusual number of motorists, who Christmas bonus in hand, set out to shoping malls to buy the presents and traditional dinner items.

In the central intersections along 27 de Febrero avenue with Maximo Gomez, Lincoln and Churchill, motorists withstood backups as long as one hour, despite the deployment of hundreds of traffic cops announced by the Metropolitan Transit Authority.

Hey THINK, it is Christmas time and the people have the right to expend their money however and when they please to do so. So stop being such as negative man in the holidays. go out and expend because the day you die that's it buddy. It is time to celebrate and not time to complain about things that had been there for as long as anybody can remember.
