What could be better? A nice Jewish banker from Switzerland. What is more interesting are the changes being brought about by the US on banking and the willingness of the usually closed-book bank proceedings of the Swiss which are now being forced to open by the IMF people (controlled by the US). Wonder if there is a connection between the parties involved.

They were no qualified honest Dominicans that had the track record to run that bank?
We have to import foreigners to straighten our businesses because of the sad lack of honest and uncorrupt human capital in the island?
Sad but at least the big shot owners of Progreso bank thought so.
The previous show-off president Pedro Castillo bragged about his houses in Vail, Colorado and how omnipotent he was,
he blundered as a high paid prima donna with some of the worst business and marketing
decisions in milky way history, and the owners approved and applauded like seals.
Now he is facing 10 to 20 years in jail.
And they bring in a dark horse from the foreign bench.
A circus of a country run by clowns.

Life in the fast lane, cyberdragon. Hope you are not offended. Don't take all your money and move it somewhere else, just because of Mr. Silverman. "They" have a long history of banking in the world, just check on their assets.

I am impress about the jealousy going on. You don't know this person, and you are starting making judgments. Are you saying some words quit offensive for a lot of groups. He was born in Switzerland, maybe he is dominican as you?.......I dont know
what a hypocrisy!!!! If you dont have faith in your country who is going to have it. Be a little proud of the DR.and work hard. If you have time to follow and write this sort of things you are not very busy

I now understand, why the human being is where it is with out values and a lot of envy . Maybe if you work together you can make a better country.

I can only pray for you guys, wishing you a better life. Amen .Jesus
