SANTO DOMINGO.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry posted the fuel prices for the week of Saturday, May 13 to Friday, the 19th, when a gallon of premium gasoline will cost RD$157.10, a rise of 7.20, and regular gasoline will cost RD$146.50, or 7.50 more.

A gallon of regular diesel will cost RD$116.80, rise of 5.00 and premium diesel will cost RD$121.80 or 4.30 more.

A gallon of Avtur will cost RD$91.78, or 1.97 more and kerosene will cost RD$108.40, a 2.00 jump, and a gallon Liquefied of Petroleum Gas (propane) will cost RD$62.54, or 1.79 more.

Out of Control.... someone is going to blow a fuse! I see trouble brewing just around the corner. Wait till the "apagones" become even more prolonged as the generators still have yet to be paid.... No fuel=No Lights. The revenue the gov. has budgeted is not being collected, therefore a rough summer is here. This is just the beginning. The Metro Power Plant is diesel fueled thus costing more per passenger seat than only 2 months ago. Losses are greater than projected... sorry to be so negative... I just cant see anything good coming down the road.
