Santo Domingo.- To promote a culture of environmental protection and awareness among its students, professors and employees, APEC University launched the Dominican Republic’s “Love green, Live green” Environment and Natural Resources Week.

From June 2  to 5, which mark the World Environment Day, APEC will conduct scientific activities,  analysis, an art works exhibit and a contest to promote its students’ creativity.

APEC director Justo Pedro Castellanos said this type of activity aims to involve the university’s entire community in the promotion of attitudes and values in the future professionals on environmental conservation.

Is it not time for man to plant the germ of his highest hope and not listen to the antideluvians here? The hope is a green planet........ The only dodo's you can find now are the stuffed variety or certain characters such as GC.... rapidly going extinct.

Some of you folks seem to be doing nothing in this newspaper, i mean if you are not engaged in the goodwill of the DR why do you even spend your time writing comments?

I know we have to be democratic and listen to everybody but some of you just don't know how to say that is good and just keep judging and repeating your thoughts over and over.
