Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez returned to the country last night after a 10 day trip to the Middle East and participated in 15th Summit of the countries of the Nonaligned Movement (NOAL).
The chief executive arrived at the San Isidro Airbase at 8:30 p.m. on a private flight from Miami, accompanied by the Presidency’s Chief of staff, Cesar Pina Toribio, and other officials and was received by Air Force minister Rafael Peña and Police chief Rafael Guzmán
Agreements In Africa
Foreign Relations minister Carlos Morales said as part of the NOAL Summit held in Egypt, the country established relations with the African Union and signed cooperation agreements with Angola and Algeria in the area of energy.
