SANTO DOMINGO.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry posted no changes in the prices for gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas, avtur and kerosene

For the week from Saturday, July 25 to Friday 31 premium gasoline will cost RD$144.90 per gallon, and regular will cost RD$135.20

Regular diesel will cost RD$108.40 per gallon, and premium diesel will cost RD$113.40.

Avtur will cost RD$85.64 per gallon, and kerosene will cost RD$102.20, whereas liquefied petroleum gas (propane) will cost RD$57.54 per gallon.

WOW!!!! I never pad any mind to the price of gas in DR, know i understand why everyone is screaming. The price in DR is $4USD while in NY we pay $2.96USD for the good stuff.........I guess the gov is trying to make up for the stloen, lost........ I mean misplaced Electricity money we haven't paid in 10yrs...

when the gas was over $4 in USA last year, it was over $6 in DR. It seems like there is a $2 per gallon delivery charge. lol

If you don't know why Gas is more expensive in the DR than in the US may I suggest a visit to a Library and check out some basic economics books.

I'd just like to know why in SD I pay 61.34 pg but in Las Terrenas I have to pay 65.7+ Hablando de gaz. 1) Where in SD is gas @ 57.54 2) Why is it so much more expensive in LT? Don't tell me it's to do with 'delivery charges' - Nagua and Samana are both less expensive than LT but the delivery charges surely are the same

I paid more outside of Nagua and the propane station did not even have the price per gallon posted. You know that the worker charge alittle extra for his pocket
