I have seen very very few Japanese tourists here except sometimes there are a few on a caribbean cruise ship ..is so hard to get from Japan to the DR and always the Japanese tourists need a USA visa when transiting in USA ..it is about 16 hours from Japan to New York and then more than 4 to SD . I doubt many will come here when they can go to Hawaii and the north of Australia for half the price and effort

A few thousand Asian bothers you but 2 millions Haitian do not! Why don't you renounce to your citizenship and adopt the Haitian one?

Japanese investments are welcome in DR anytime!

$3 million is nothing. The government invests over $50 million only in advertising. It's not good that the DR is sustained in donations. If you want to learn by developed countries donate money to poor country then read real history, but specially about discrimination, expansionism, individualism, etc.
