Now, that's a real company. Their founder (now deceased) was educated at Montreal's McGill University. This might explain the difference in mind and management style as opposed to other criollo businesses, and why they are doing so well.

Do the World really need more beer ?
I can see it now....more drunkenness and elude behavior / acts while under the influence in both Public and private, all for bigger profits.
Why is it that Fun & Socializing always associated with Alcohol like..."Here's to good friends"..."It's M----- time"..."For all you do this B--'s for you" etc..etc..
Then capped off with , get this..."Responsible Drinking"..."Designated Driver"..."If you Drink, don't drive" and my favorite "Drink Responsibly" I don't now anybody smashed that acts responsible.
The other day I saw a Sporting on event T.V and counted 4 T.V commercials advertising Beer and a good time before I shut it off.
I only wonder what the Youth are thinking right about now ?
Just think of the crimes commited while under the influence.....
Life's nothing but a big party, PARTY ON !

Have you ever noticed the nice Presidente beer ad in the Cibao airport? It makes people want one while you are waiting in the immigration line.

Great news for St Vincent, Antigua and Dominica beer drinker, they were stock with the Bitter Tasting Carib, wait and see how Presidente is going to become the #1 selling beer in that market.

Obviously very few of you understand the beer industry ,,,,,just remember my Prophecy in the not to distant future {CND} will be absorbed by Miller/SAB who they have had long term relationship with from Phillip Morris days and who owns distribution in the US market ........and as the far more efficient INBEV eats into their market share they will once again look to Miller/SAB to save their bacon and make a huge pile of money for the Leon Jimenez family.... it is inevitable .......get used to it

I tested a real Presidente and the one imported by Miller. The bottle imported by Miller started to freeze while the real one was not frozen, the bottle only turned white. Proof that the imported one has less alcohol

Presidente is more expensive in the DR than imported beer is in the states. Expand to the US? They can't be the same ladrones in the US as they are here because there is competition. Bunch of thieves are investing their high profits out of the country.

Taxes are paid by alcohol content often depending on the State and as cutthroat as the beer market is every penny counts.....If you have noticed how many options have been offered over the last two years in size color and even light beer from {CND} that is only because a very big dog is chasing them INBEV and they will not be denied and they are 100 times the size of {CND} woof woof
From: Dominican Republic
We get Prezidentes in SoFlo....cheaper than in SD for a twelve pack....alcohol content is Florida standards, still tastes better than anything else we get

I would welcome any presidente I could get my hands on in this neck of the woods.
It may be patriotic fervor, but I think it's one of the best beers around-and I've tasted many European beers! Fact is i've traveled the German Blac Forest more extensively than most Germans and enjoyed many very local beers you couldn't get in the next village only 5 km away.
I am not saying Presidente is on par with the best German pilsners or the Belgian brews, but it's pretty good and more affordable. It beats most American beers hands down.

antonio,
that must be the price if you buy a 12 pack. I have never bought a small presidente for less than 45 pesos. In Santiago it cost 50+pesos

Foreign revenue that will not pay Dominican taxes! Instead of spreading some of that money in education, all we get to say that Dominican investor are invading the Caribbean! May the Dominica and Antigua societies are changing attitude towards alcohol and they may consume it less.

Previously Quote by Trujillo. (This is what Dominican companies should be doing all over the world.)
Trujillo, you have to understand in order for Dominican C.E.O. to think like that or out side the box they have to go to universities here in the U.S.A. or Europe. And major in the marketing , or Business administration. And graduate minimum with a Master or Doctorate degree. OR to hire Dominican or foreigner professional to run their daily operation . Some of this companies they're run by family tradition, and the way they think is if their founder fathers brought up to this point with hard work, why would they bring anybody else outside the family to run operation. I personally think they should go outside the box to expand their business globally.
