CANADIAN EMBASSY ANNOUNCES GATHERING
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Canadian Embassy’s Commercial Service today announced a visit on February 8 and 9 by representatives of Canadian information technology companies, interested in establishing commercial relations with Dominican pars in that branch.
Among the Canadian companies which will take part in the event are Interfacing Technologies (software for business management processes); Vecima Networks (equipment to transmit content via wireless broadband; Mentum (solutions for planning and optimizing wireless networks), VisonMAX (solutions for IPTV, call centers, and sale terminals), and Average Netro, ("streaming" of digital content).
The Canadian Embassy’s Commercial Section said the delegation’s main goal is to find local commercial partners for these companies, which have expressed an interest in the Dominican market, which has proven development in the sector of information and communications technologies.
It said it promotes Canadian products and services in Dominican Republic, while identifying suitable Dominican companies to supply the needs of Canadian partners.
