Companies “disguise” pregnancy tests in cahoots with labs
Santo Domingo. - Labor minister Max Puig affirmed Friday that Dominican women are still “in frank disadvantage” compared with men in the social scope in 2010, especially in the labor area, where companies conduct “disguised” pregnancy tests in cahoots with labs.
He also blamed the lack of fairness on the unemployment rate and to limitations as homemakers and said while the unemployment rate in men is 8 percent, for women it’s “three times higher” at 24 percent.
The official said one of the disadvantages of woman is still the many tasks society assigns them at home and the strictness of the companies, which in his view continue breaking the law by conducting pregnancy tests on women who apply for jobs. “They do so in a disguised manner with agreements with the laboratories.”
Interviewed on the program El Dia, Puig said women who work and raise children have a highly limited time since they must find someone to take care of them, because the Government’s day care centers accept only a small number.
Puig added that the low budget assigned to that area is insufficient to meet the demand.

you all are not taking this serious,but it is. single mom without job or young ladies who wants to go to collage and need money to paid for they material and stuff they have the right to work whit out being discriminate because of they sex .remember all man came from a woman. we all need one-another
if families cant give they kids what they need they will grow up to get the first choices most probably
the wrongdoing. so what going to happen if women cant give birth and all the tin-ages that are being kill in some years Dominican republic is going to be without young people
