COPENHAGEN,- Denmark's Vestas (VWS., the world's biggest maker of wind turbines, has won orders in France and the Dominican Republic for turbines with combined capacity of 67 megawatts, the company said on Tuesday quoted by Reuters.

It said the order from the Dominican Republic was for 14 of its V90-1.8 MW turbine for the Parque Eolico (wind park) Los Cocos project, Vestas Wind Systems A/S said in separate statements.

Reuters added that delivery of turbines to the Dominican Republic's biggest power producer, the company EGE Haina, is scheduled to begin in December and be completed during the second quarter of 2011.

a strong currency is usually a sign of a healthy economy.
for the dr. to achieve long-term growth with strong currencies, the dr will have to export increasingly sophistricated goods, and will rquire more EDUCATION.

not going to happen in the dr. not in this life time with the bad apples in the government
