THE VISIT IS FOR TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY
SANTO DOMINGO. - Canada ambassador Todd Kuiack announced that Governor General Michaelle Jean will visit Dominican Republic tomorrow and Wednesday, marking the first by a Head of State from that nation to visit the country.
The diplomat said Jean will meet with the president Leonel Fernandez and senior members of his Cabinet as part of the work visit.
She will visit places of social interest and hold meetings with the important members of civil society in the cooperation and environment area and outstanding Canadian and Dominican personalities.
Jean was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1968 and emigrated to Canada with her family, which fled from the dictatorial regime of the era.

But clearly the Canadians know how to send a message when they appoint a Canadian woman born in Haiti as their Governor General.

Since Harper is utterly servile toward US imperialists, Jean's message for LF will most likely be to back off from the $2.2 in reconstruction contracts and let the US imperialists gorge themselves on the whole $2.2B.
Jean will likely take the same message to the Haitian bourgeoisie, especially its God, Mr. Bigio.
