SANTO DOMINGO.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the prices on all fuels in effect for the week from June 13 to 20, when premium gasoline will still cost RD$161.20, and regular RD$150.90 per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$128.40 and premium RD$133.40, whereas avtur remains at RD$104.47 per gallon.

Kerosene will sell for RD$121.20 per gallon, and propane gas (LPG) will cost RD$74.21 per gallon.

Fuel prices have remained unchanged since before the May 16 elections, which many motorists attributed to a measure of politicking by the Government.

I think fuel prices may increase after the elections. It usually happens. We should take proper steps to prevent it.
