SANTO DOMINGO. - The Industry and Commerce Ministry Friday announced higher fuel prices for the week from October 22 to 28, when premium gasoline will cost RD$225.60 for an increase of RD$2.20, while regular will cost RD$210.00 for an increase of RD$2.00 per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$188.60 for an increase of RD$2.40; premium diesel will cost RD$195.20 for an increase of RD$2.40 and avtur will cost RD$153.42 for an increase of RD$2.50 per gallon.

Kerosene will cost RD$178.60 for an increase of RD$2.80, fuel oil will cost RD$136.34 for an increase of RD$2.58 propane gas will cost RD$108.60, for an increase of RD$1.00 per gallon, and natural gas will cost RD$24.93 the cubic meter, or higher RD$1.63 higher.

The Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$38.41 per dollar was used to calculate prices.

WOW!! we don't even have sufficient numbers of natural gas stations and they are already raising the price, what about if this project develops into what we are hoping it becomes, is it going to become another cash cow???
