Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic, as acting president of the initiative “Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas,” will host its 4th Ministerial Meeting October 4 and 5, with the participation of the Member States, representatives of international and , governmental institutions, the private sector and civil society.
United States Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to attend the inaugural ceremony, as well as Foreign Relations and Commerce ministers from 21 countries of the hemisphere.
A technical group a will make the final revision for the Declaration and the Plan of Action of the Ministerial Meeting Tuesday afternoon, and the opening will take place in the conference hall of the Foreign Relations Ministry at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Discussions and meetings of work groups start early morning Wednesday will center on the Initiative’s four pillars: Empowerment of the micro, small and medium companies; facilitate trade and regional competitiveness; create a modern labor force and promote sustainable business practices and cooperate for the environment.

“Pathways to Prosperity"... Dominican politics have that down to a science. It is called transparent entitlement corruption with impunity at the cost of 80% of the people in the country.
They can't educate them but they sure as hell can steal from them.
