Santo Domingo.- A whopping -–81.9% (295 votes) of DT readers responded with “Cleanup the trash, thugs,” when asked “What must Santo Domingo do to attract more tourists?”

In second place was “Move to another country,” with 11.7%, or 42 votes of a total of tie total of 360 readers who took part in the weekly, unscientific poll.

In third place with 14 votes (3.89%) was “Offer more nightlife variety, while fourth place, with 9 votes (2.50%) was the response “Get the Cluster to offer packages,” in reference to the newly formed Tourism Cluster, aimed at promoting the capital as a tourism destination.

I see one thug and his entourage has already taken the hint.
Clean up trash? Couldn't have read the article here entitled "The country has the most Blue Flag beaches in Latin America"

It's a shame how dangerous it's become since I bought a house there over 20 years ago. Politicians, generals, lawyers, judges, police, and the ruling elite run the country, and are frightening. What has happened to Turlow's killer and political friend? Nothing!
