Santo Domingo. - To open it to traffic in a matter of days, the Public Works Ministry and the builder Corredor Duarte Group place the final touches to the pavement of the tunnel which links Ortega & Gasset Avenue with the Santo Domingo State University UASD.

The 1.20 kilometer long North-South underpass has two, 3.65 meter wide lanes.

Public Works minister Victor Diaz Rúa said the Corredor Duarte personnel works round-the-clock to finish the roadway before yearend.

Happy not to visit the Capital in about a year and a half. Just too much traffic with all this construction.

Curlando... in 1 and 1/2 years, the 2nd. Metro line will be totally constructed and you won't have to fight traffic, if you care to use it.
