Santo Domingo.- The UNPHU University and the Foundation Zeri (Zero Emissions Research & Initiatives) a global environmentalist institution, signed an agreement to develop the evaluation and environmental research project of Blue Economy in the country.
The activity was headed by UNPHU Foundation president Eugenio Garrido, sponsor of the FUDPHU, and Zeri Latin America director Carlos Bernal, and Zeri Foundation president Gunter Pauli, an expert on ecology and sustainable and development issues.
Garrido said the development of a culture of sustainable production which respects the environment is indispensable to assure future generations, for which Bernal stressed the agreement’s importance.
