Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic and the other countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA) agreed to materialize projects with 30.5 million dollars from Taiwan, during the 15th  Meeting of the Mixed SICA-Taiwan Commission, in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Among the prioritized projects figure the areas of integral risk management and adaptation to climatic change, economic integration, social integration and the stronger institutionalism for the Foreign Relations ministries of its Member States.

After the meeting, Clara Quiñones, Foreign Relations vice-minister, and SICA and CARIFORO liaison, said one of the projects will bolster the development of small and medians companies.

She added that the cooperation will let Dominican Republic access all of SICA’s social assistance programs in equal terms and conditions.
