Santo Domingo. - The Executive Branch designated Francisco Méndez as president of the Council of the country’s only refinery Refidomsa via Decree 213-11, which also appoints Mario Cáceres a Council member, replacing Marianela Bautista.

Méndez replaces Angel Rosario Viñas in the post.

The decree also designates Héctor Lora as a member of the Administration of the Council of State-owned Power Companies (CDEEE), replacing William Sifres.

Another Decree, 214-11, designates Juan Bautista Gomez, president of the Electricity Superintendence’s Administration Council, replacing Méndez.

Many names stated in article. However, please give us their qualifications, resumes. I would further request specific list of accountability, and what checks and balances are in place to keep this lot out "cookie jar".

I am hoping it's not another infusion of ladronazos. Also, public is growing weary of incompetence. If we lack the people to properly manage this asset, then let's hire management out to maybe the British-they are great managers and act in such capacities all over Europe. Furthermore, they possess requisite integrity. They could set good example to follow, and many could profit from experience.

Hunh- What a great job he did with the Electric sector. Damn anyone over the pay scale of clerk send them a long way away. Robin Island including our Queen. Not the Pork Chop but her too.

People will not accept foreigners taking up high positions, unfortunately Dominicans prefer to be robbed by their own kind than be managed by foreigners; a false sense of patriotism.
