SANTO DOMINGO.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry for the fourth straight week posted lower fuel prices, which will be in effect from October 1 to 7, when premium gasoline will cost RD$222.90, or RD$3.90 less per gallon, while regular goes to RD$206.90, or RD$4.00 less.
Regular diesel goes to RD$186.30, or RD$2.40 less; premium diesel will cost RD$192.90 per gallon, or RD$2.50 less; avtur will cost RD$1.49 less at RD$151.42; kerosene falls RD$2.30, to RD$177.20, and fuel oil will sell for RD$132.95, or RD$1.86 less.
Propane gas goes to RD$108.60 per gallon, or RD$1.00 less, and natural gas climbs to RD$23.11, or RD$0.54 more per cubic meter.

People buy a car that dies 60 mpg instead of 30.
If anything it should he higher - encourage people to use bicycles, buses and the metro etc.
