Santo Domingo.- Canada’s new Ambassador in the country Georges Boissé will dictate a lecture titled "Doing Business with Canada" 6pm Monday, October 29, in the auditorium of UNIBE University.
The conference forms part of a series of lectures hosted by the Round Table of Commonwealth Countries in partnership with UNIBE, to raise awareness on the opportunities to collaborate and promote cooperation among Commonwealth countries and Dominican Republic, in culture, trade and education.
The Canadian Dominican Chamber of Commerce also sponsors the Canadian Ambassador's conference.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary organization of 54 countries spread over six continents , ranging in sizes as large as Australia, India, South Africa and Canada, but also as small as Trinidad, Barbados, Singapore, Mauritius, Jamaica, among others.
The Round Table of Commonwealth Countries in Dominican Republic is an initiative promoting bilateral relations between the Dominican Republic and the organization’s 54 countries.
