Santo Domingo.- The Executive Branch submitted a US$38.5 million loan in the Senate Tuesday, to partially finance the Coral Highway Project, being built by the Public Works Ministry.

The agreement between Dominican Republic and the United States Export and Import Bank (Eximbank) stipulates that the project’s second stage will encompass the La Romana-Punta Cana span.

The loan for the four lane highway also includes the construction of the bypass at La Romana, and the exchange at the Punta Cana Airport, among other structures.
