From 269,000 square meters of greenhouses in 2004 to 5.42 million in 2011, the growth boosted vegetable harvests from 4.6 million pounds in 2004, to 89.4 million in 2011.

Earnings from greenhouse vegetables went from 3.9 million dollars in 2004, to 58.5 million in 2011.

Danilo Medina PLD 55.9
Hipolito Mejía PRD 37.7
