BOSTON.- General Consul in Boston Miguel Andujar announced several interagency agreements with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) and its Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to benefit Dominican workers living in New England.
Andujar said he'll meet Thursday with WHD District director George A. Riox, aimed at helping to protect Dominican workers with schedules and wages in their workplaces.
He said this week he met with James E. Mulligan, OSHA Regional Administrative Assistant for Cooperative Programs and the State’s Office for Safety Law, and with Marthe B. Kent, OSHA Regional Administrator, prior to signing in the next few days a health and protection agreement for the region’s Dominican workers.
The official added that the agency works to guarantee conditions of safety and health for the working men and women, by implementing and enforcing applicable norms in the workplace.

This is a lot of political bs, promotion, and created news on the part of the general consul. This is nothing new or groundbreaking, the laws are already in place for all the working public, to include the Dominican workforce.
Federal employment regulations require employers to post notices to inform employees of their rights, and most states have done the same, including Massachusetts. The notices are in English and Spanish.
Oh,Lord.
Hopefully he'll go to jail for the 10-8 payments.
