Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez on Wednesday noon cut the ribbon for the farm products marketing facility MercaSanto Domingo, a component of the National Food Plan Network.
The work built at a cost of more than RD$5.0 billion includes the construction of four wholesale markets which supply the networks of retailers nationwide.
Located 22 kilometers north of the city on the Duarte highway, MercaSanto Domingo’s 50,720 square meter area has eight warehouses of 7,800 m2 each: four for fruits and vegetables, fish, seafood and meats with and for others for various products.

Excellent news..
A lot of people still see prosperity in D.R.
Thanks Mr. President..
You will be miss for sure!
Nobody has done so much in such little time!
Excellent news. Where is Josey, Roy and Dready and their doom and gloom routine?
We got a job for hipolito there.. selling yuca from Gurabo!
At least we know he would be doing a way much better job than if he would be president..
