Santo Domingo.- To March this year the pension fund topped RD$164.1 billion (US$4.2 billion), or RD$9.5 billion more than in December 2011, when it reached DR$154.7 billion.

The number of affiliates meanwhile rose by 38,092 people, from 2,552,974 in December 2011 to 2,591,066 in February this year, according to figures from the Pensions Superintendence (SIPEN).

Meanwhile the number of contributors to the Social Security System, via the pension system started in September 2003, had 570,119 people, then rose to 1,242,780 in December 2011, and topped 1,263,000 by March 31 this year, a 48.8% jump in membership.

DR's Government needs to show all Dominican where are these money, how these money being utilized and distrubuted, ........a very detail and clear and transparent flows.
