Santo Domingo. - As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations working in the country, the construction company Norberto Odebrecht announced the "NATIONAL JOURNALISM AWARD - ODEBRECHT DOMINICAN REPUBLIC" to showcase and reward the work of journalists, to encourage their professional interest in the topic: CURRENT AND FUTURE CHALLENGES of the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

The prize, which will be awarded only once and will recognize the country’s most outstanding journalism within the theme of the contest, forms part of Odebrecht’s initiatives implemented this year, to mark its 10 years in the Dominican Republic.

The contest is open to all works based on the "CURRENT AND FUTURE CHALLENGES OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC", published in national newspapers, magazines or online outlets, from June 15 to August 31.

The first sentence of the article should read,

"As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations owning the country and bribing its way to becoming the only contractor receiving work".......................................................

They are indeed a great builder. Too bad they don't have the opportunity to really show what they can do. Just imagine if the money they paid to get the jobs instead went to make the jobs even better.

Veremos
